Chita is de eerste iconische graanwhisky van het huis Suntory Whisky, wereldwijd erkend om zijn uitmuntendheid en unieke vakmanschap.

In 1972 richtte Keizo Saji-Suntory's tweede Master Blender een distilleerderij op het Chita-schiereiland op, exclusief gewijd aan de productie van Japanse graanwhisky van de hoogste kwaliteit. Deze distilleerderij belichaamt innovatie en traditie en biedt een authentieke en verfijnde smaakervaring.

Door grondig onderzoek en voortdurende innovatie hebben de graanwhisky's van Chita een ongeëvenaarde verfijning bereikt. Ze worden traditioneel gebruikt als "dashi", een bouillon die de harmonie en complexiteit van Suntory's prestigieuze blends verbetert. Deze vlaggenschipversie wordt zorgvuldig gerijpt in een perfecte combinatie van wijn-, sherry- en bourbonvaten, en biedt een delicaat en uitgebalanceerd aromaprofiel. Deze lichte whisky betovert met subtiele tonen van verse munt, zoete honing en delicate kruiden, waardoor elke proeverij een uitzonderlijke zintuiglijke ervaring wordt.
