Matias I Torres - Negramoll Red - Canary Islands - Organic 2015
The Matias I Torres estate has existed since 1885. The 2 hectare vineyard is based entirely on volcanic soil where the vines are planted without rootstocks. The vines are 30 to 120 years old and the altitude varies from 200 to 1,200 meters.
The vinification method is traditional: manual harvest, followed by traditional pressing, fermentation in stainless steel vats and then aging for 7 months on lees in 600-liter barrels.
