Clos Les Rouzes Clinet 1990

Clos Les Rouzes Clinet was located in the Pomerol appellation, in the Bordeaux region. The 2.2 hectare vineyard was planted with Merlot (80%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). The property was managed by Maryse Jollivet and Stéphane Bosc. Clos Les Rouzes Clinet was deregistered on February 25, 2010.

The 1990 vintage in Bordeaux has a legendary reputation. The winter was mild and turned into a cool spring with temperatures not warming up until May. July and August were record-breaking warm months. Rains in late August and early September brought welcome relief and conditions for the rest of the month were cool and clear, ideal for an early harvest.
