La Mentheuse was born out of a common desire between three friends from Languedoc, Lionel and Dominique Albano and Frédéric Bion. Coming from the wine and gastronomy sector, having a soft spot for the digestive liqueurs of yesteryear with a strong character, they wanted to drink local and less alcoholic. They therefore imagined in April 2018 after long months of research with the Grap'Sud distillery, specialising in wine alcohol near Uzès, a cream without additives, lighter in alcohol and more discreet in sugar in order to bring out the natural aromas of three mints, La Mentheuse.

Its essential complement, lemon cream, was released after a long maturation.

La Mentheuse's latest digestive creation has just been released: La Croqueuse. In this version, the apple is the new inspiration.

All three liqueurs contain ingredients labeled 100% Sud de France.
