The Compagnie des Indes was founded in 2016 on the initiative of Pierre Beuchet. It is inspired by companies from the East Indies that existed in the seventeenth and eighteenth century, specializing in the trade of fine products from distant countries. The rums of the Compagnie des Indes are therefore representative of their terroir of origin, they are rums with strong identity that invite you to travel in their native soil.

This age-old rum from Trinidad Single cask comes from Trinity Island, an island with an ideal climate for growing sugar cane. This island belongs to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago which counts the 2 neighboring islands of Trinidad and Tobago within it. The spirits that are the source of this rum come from the legendary distillery Trinidad Distillers Limited (T.D.L.), the only distillery on the island. It was distilled in 2003 and then sung for 15 years in a barrel. It was finally reported in France where it was bottled by the good care of the East India Company in March 2018, without cold filtration for a purest expression.

This vintage was produced in a limited series of 364 bottles.
