Cambes Estate 2022

Château Roc de Cambes is located in the Côtes de Bourg appellation of Bordeaux . The Château was purchased in 1988 by François and Emilie Mitjavile , who also own Château Le Tetre-Rôteboeuf in Saint-Emilion. It produces a Bordeaux blend wine made from Merlot and a Second Vin (Domaine de Cambes) sold under the Bordeaux AOC appellation. The vineyard covers 12 hectares and the vines, planted on deep clay-limestone soils, are approximately 50 years old.

A road separates the vineyards of Domaine de Cambes from those of Château Roc de Cambes. It is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc aged for 18 months in new barrels.
