Domaine de Vaccelli - Aja Donica 2022

Domaine de Vaccelli is located in Cognocoli-Monticchi , Corsica . The family estate was purchased in the 1960s by the Courrèges family, after Algeria's independence. Its owner, Gérard Courrèges (son of Alain Courrèges), has been producing wines since the 1970s under the appellations of AOC Ajaccio, Vin de Pays de l'Île de Beauté but also Vin de France. Today, the vineyard extends over 27 hectares planted with numerous grape varieties, a large part of which are indigenous grape varieties . The vineyard has been run in certified organic farming since 2019.

Aja Donica is a plot cuvée made from Vermentinu over-grafted on old Grenache and Alicante vines.
