Clos Joliette - Jurançon 2016

Clos Joliette is located in the Jurançon wine region. This is the oldest and smallest vineyard (1.85 hectares) in Jurançon. It was created in 1929 by the Migné family, planted in Petit Manseng on a terroir of rolled pebbles on a soil of pudinque, silica, limestone, clay. An iron vein is present underground. In 1989, the property was sold to Michel Renaud , a Parisian wine merchant and merchant. After his death in 2015, a difficult succession began and the 2016 and 2017 harvests were taken care of by Jean-Marc Grussaute (Domaine Camin Larredya) as well as by the A Bisto de Nas collective. Subsequently, responsibility for the stock and vineyard management are entrusted to the merchant Lionel Osmin and Franck Lihour (Domaine Castéra).

Clos Joliette is made from Petit Manseng of varying maturity, ranging from golden to raisined and botrytized. After a long pressing giving a minimal yield, fermentation takes place in old used barrels where the wine can remain for up to ten years. Depending on the barrels, the wine can be dry, sweet or sweet.

Grape variety: 100% Petit Manseng

The wine has a natural deposit which does not affect its taste qualities in any way.

All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
