Château Le Puy - Barthélemy 2016

Le Puy "Barthélemy" 2016 komt van een perceel genaamd «les Rocs», beplant met 85% Merlot en 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, allemaal op een zeer verantwoorde manier geteeld. Deze wijn wordt gerijpt, na een vaak lange vinificatie zonder toevoegingen, in ervaren vaten gedurende 24 maanden, door dynamisering volgens de maanfasen, zonder toevoeging van zwaveldioxide of anders. Hij wordt gebotteld zonder filtratie. De vinificatie in de familie Amoreau is bijzonder: de druif wordt heel in betonnen tanks gedaan, enkele duigen houden de hoed en het sap in fermentatie die over de top stroomt op een soort betonnen terras waar het afkoelt en vervolgens natuurlijk terugkeert naar de tank; een volledig natuurlijke thermoregulatie en zuurstofvoorziening...

Barthélemy 2016: diepe purperrode kleur met tonen van rijp fruit. Mooie complexiteit in de mond: een rijke, gestructureerde, diepe en zijdezachte sap. De opvoeding van de Barthélemy cuvée is intensiever, geduld zal nodig zijn.
