Domaine Pierre Ménard - Cosmos 2023

Domaine Pierre Ménard ligt in Faye-d’Anjou, in de Loire-vallei. Het wordt geleid door Pierre Ménard, een gepassioneerde wijnmaker die in 2013 een deel van de familie wijngaarden overnam. Na internationale wijnervaringen, met name in Portugal (Ramos Pinto), Hongarije (Disznókő) en Bordeaux (Château Latour), heeft hij zich toegewijd aan het uitdrukken van de rijkdom van de Anjou terroirs. De wijngaard beslaat 4,12 hectare langs de oevers van de Layon en benadrukt de karakteristieke leisteen nuances van deze regio. Pierre Ménard geeft de voorkeur aan een parcellaire aanpak om de diversiteit van zijn terroirs te onthullen, met biologische landbouw in certificeringsproces.

Deze Coteaux du Layon is gemaakt van botrytische Chenin Blanc druiven. Het bevat ongeveer 145 g/L restsuiker.

Druivensoort: 100% Chenin Blanc
