Closerie des Moussis - Spoum 2020

Closerie des Moussis ligt in Arsac, in de Haut-Médoc van Bordeaux. Het is eigendom van Laurence Alias (oenoloog) en Pascale Choime (landbouwkundig ingenieur gespecialiseerd in ecologie en duurzame ontwikkeling) sinds 2009. De wijngaard Clos des Moussis heeft slechts 1 hectare wijngaarden op het plateau van Sénèjac, bestaande uit zanderige grindbodems, en de wijnstokken zijn tussen de 30 en 40 jaar oud. Sinds 2015 bezitten ze ook 20 are binnen de appellatie Margaux. De hele wijngaard is gecertificeerd in biodynamische landbouw sinds de oogst van 2015. De twee vrouwen hebben ook een handelsactiviteit: ze kopen biologische druiven van een vriend die wijnbouwer is om bepaalde cuvées te maken, waaronder Virevolte.

Spoum is een Pet’ Nat gemaakt van Cabernet Franc en Cabernet Sauvignon. Het wordt geproduceerd volgens de ancestrale methode.
