Domaine Comte Armand - Volnay 2000

Comte Armand maakt deel uit van Domaine des Epeneaux, gevestigd in Pommard, in de appellatie Côte de Beaune. Het domein behoort al bijna twee eeuwen tot de familie Armand, sinds Nicolas Marey in het einde van de 18e eeuw de wijngaard Epeneaux van 5 hectare kocht. In 1994 zette Domaine Comte Armand zijn ontwikkeling voort met de aankoop van wijngaarden in Volnay.

Domaine des Epeneaux teelt nu 9 hectare wijngaarden biologisch, met een gemiddelde leeftijd van 50 jaar en sommige oude van 80 jaar.

De oogst wordt volledig ontsteeld en er wordt gestreefd naar het behouden van hele bessen. De vinificatie begint met een maceratieperiode van ongeveer een week, gevolgd door een spontane fermentatie van 5 tot 10 dagen. Een verdere maceratie kan tot 15 dagen extra duren, het totale proces duurt gemiddeld 4 weken. De rijping op vat duurt meestal 18 tot 24 maanden.

Alle gedistilleerde dranken die wij u aanbieden zijn op voorraad en ook op aanvraag beschikbaar in onze winkel gewijd aan de wijnen Clos des Millésimes op 3 Rue Lucien Faure in Bordeaux.
